Ingredients
¼ teaspoon Himalayan pink salt (fine-ground)
Juice of ½ fresh lemon
8–10 oz (250–300 ml) warm filtered water (not boiling)
1 teaspoon raw honey (optional — for the 4-ingredient Oprah version)
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar with the mother (optional — for the ACV detox version)
Instructions
1. Warm your filtered water until comfortably warm — bath temperature, not boiling.
2. Stir in ¼ teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt until fully dissolved, about 30 seconds.
3. Squeeze in the juice of half a fresh lemon.
4. Add raw honey or apple cider vinegar if using either variation.
5. Stir once more and sip slowly on an empty stomach, 20–30 minutes before breakfast or coffee.
Notes
Always use Himalayan pink salt not regular table salt. The minerals are the whole point.
Start with ¼ tsp. Never exceed ½ tsp of pink salt per day total.
Use a straw to protect tooth enamel from the lemon acidity.
