- 8 jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
- Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each filled jalapeño with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place the poppers on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For more flavor, use hickory-cured bacon. You can also customize the heat level by adjusting the amount of jalapeño seeds.
