  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced Cajun sausage, diced bell pepper, and onion. Cook until the sausage is browned and the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and Cajun seasoning, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to combine.
  6. Gradually stir in the shredded cheese until it melts and integrates with the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
