Description

Dr William Li gelatin recipe made with unflavored gelatin, pomegranate juice, honey, and lemon. A simple pre-meal wellness ritual ready in under 5 minutes.

Ingredients

2 tbsp unflavored gelatin powder (grass-fed or fish gelatin)

2 cups 100% pomegranate or cherry juice

1 cup warm water or brewed green tea

1 to 2 tsp raw honey (optional)

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)

1 small pinch of sea salt

Instructions

1. Pour juice and warm water into a saucepan. Sprinkle gelatin powder over the surface and let bloom for 5 minutes without stirring.

2. Place over low heat and stir gently until gelatin is fully dissolved and mixture is smooth and glossy. Do not boil.

3. Remove from heat. Stir in honey, lemon juice, and sea salt. Taste and adjust.

4. Pour into a clean glass dish or silicone molds. Cool 10 minutes at room temperature.

5. Refrigerate uncovered for 2 to 4 hours until fully set. Cut into cubes and serve before meals.

Notes

Store in a sealed glass container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

For the Japanese gelatin version, replace juice with brewed green tea and reduce honey.

For the bariatric version, use only water and unflavored gelatin with no sweetener.

Boost with turmeric or collagen peptides stirred in before setting.
