Description

Delicious and gooey butter cookies perfect for the holiday season, filled with love and warmth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup of butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, softened cream cheese, softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and the dough is smooth.
  3. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and roll them in powdered sugar, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Add sprinkles on top of each cookie before baking.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, store the cookies in an airtight container lined with parchment paper to maintain their gooeyness. They can last about a week at room temperature.
