Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Chocolate for dipping (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture until well combined.
  6. Using a cookie press or piping bag with a star tip, pipe the dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool on sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. If desired, melt chocolate and dip the cooled cookies in it. Let the chocolate set before serving.
