Deliciously soft donuts made with fresh strawberry puree, perfect for a loving treat on Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- Pink icing (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the strawberry puree, milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, dip in pink icing and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes
Use very ripe strawberries for the best flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
