- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Crushed peppermint or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients and lay them out on the countertop.
- Measure 2 cups of whole milk and pour it into a medium-sized saucepan.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir occasionally to avoid scorching.
- Once the milk is steaming but not boiling, add in 1 cup of white chocolate chips and stir until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
- Pour in 1/4 cup of heavy cream and stir to enrich the texture.
- Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and stir gently.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before pouring into mugs.
- Top each mug with whipped cream and sprinkle with crushed peppermint or cocoa powder, if desired.
Notes
