- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 package of phyllo dough
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a big bowl, mix together the ricotta, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with melted butter.
- Layer another sheet on top and brush with more butter.
- Cut the dough into squares and place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each.
- Fold the corners of the dough over the filling and brush the tops with butter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
For a cozier aroma, add a little extra vanilla. Serve warm with fresh berries or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
