Description

Light FGO green tea gelatin cubes made with brewed organic tea and unflavored gelatin. A low-calorie, protein-rich snack inspired by the gelatin trick.

Ingredients

2 FGO organic green tea bags

2 cups water, divided

2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin

Optional: 1–2 teaspoons honey or zero-calorie sweetener

Instructions

1. Boil 1 1/2 cups of the water and steep FGO green tea bags for 5–7 minutes for a strong brew. Remove bags.

2. Pour remaining 1/2 cup cold water into a bowl. Sprinkle gelatin evenly over the surface and let bloom 3–5 minutes.

3. Slowly whisk hot FGO tea into the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved and clear.

4. Stir in honey or sweetener if using, tasting to adjust sweetness.

5. Pour mixture into an 8×8-inch dish or silicone molds.

6. Refrigerate at least 4 hours, or until firm, then cut into cubes.

7. Enjoy 2–3 cubes as a light snack or 15–20 minutes before meals as part of a volume-eating routine.

Notes

Swap FGO green tea for FGO turmeric ginger, hibiscus, or chamomile for different flavors.

Fits naturally with the Dr Jennifer Ashton gelatin trick style and other pre-meal gelatin routines.

Keep cubes refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Adjust sweetness based on how you normally drink your tea.
