Description

Refresh with green tea gelatin, a light antioxidant treat that blends calm green tea flavor with a gentle gelatin set.


Ingredients

4 green tea bags

2 cups hot water

1/4 cup sugar or honey

2 tbsp unflavored gelatin powder

1/2 cup cold water

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice


Instructions

1. Boil 2 cups water and steep 4 green tea bags for 5 minutes, then squeeze the bags.

2. Stir in 1/4 cup sugar or honey until dissolved.

3. Sprinkle 2 tbsp gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water and let bloom for 5 minutes.

4. Pour hot tea over the bloomed gelatin and whisk until smooth.

5. Stir in 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice and strain into a mold.

6. Chill for at least 4 hours until firm.

Notes

Garnish with fresh fruit or mint.

Store covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.

For low sugar, replace honey with your favorite sweetener.
