Description

Quick and tasty honey garlic shrimp served over rice with mixed vegetables and a sticky sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup cooked rice or quinoa
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots)
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring until coated.
  5. Serve shrimp over cooked rice or quinoa, topped with mixed vegetables.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy your delicious bowls!

Notes

For a thicker glaze, cook the sauce longer before adding shrimp. Use fresh shrimp for best results.
